Prior online registration is required via the following link. Number of participants is limited to 90 and they will be accepted on a first-come-first-served basis. Applicants are kindly asked to book their own accommodation in Basel. Registration fee does not include lunch at the PSI.
A few words from the organizers
Excursion to the construction site of the SwissFEL. The Paul Scherrer Institute is constructing a new scientific large-scale facility – the SwissFEL X-ray free-electron laser. This will provide new opportunities for cutting-edge Swiss research. The SwissFEL is scheduled to go into operation at the end of 2016. For more information please see

Please take note that the SwissFEL building is still under construction. It is obligatory to wear closed, solid shoes (no sandals or high heels).

14:00 – 14:20 | Possibility to attend the PSI visitors’ center PSI-Forum |
14:30 | Departure of the bus back to Basel |
~16:00 | Arrival to Basel |
